17thandirving @benectar oh! They're virtual parties! But sometimes the Poshmark team hold live events in the city. I met them at their 1 year birthday party! It was at an art gallery in SOMA.

17thandirving @lenaaaaaa hey! Thank you! My best tips are to put a lot of work into describing your listings so people know what they're getting, take great photos of them. Then go search for lots of people that wear your size and follow! I think I follow every size 9 shoe gal on here! Share all your listings to the parties, and share other people's listings. Lots of times, they'll return the favor which shares your listings with their followers. Good luck!!! Xo!

Eh, it's the price you pay when I can't just "give" away the items when they are already at a loss!!! Hope you have a few sales tonight, you have been kind to respond to me😘!!!
17thandirving @sdshopper I shared a listing for you, hope that helps. You might consider taking your photos in bright, natural light. Or mixing them up a bit. I find that if something isn't moving after a bit, I change the photo and it sells! Like a boutique - it should look different every time you visit!

The stores here are just empty or full of junk. I've scored maybe 3 things the 5 years I've lived here. Have you ever been to their flagship one in Seattle? It was pretty amazing selection...they had tons of R&B Newbury when I was there but those are a touch too tall for me.

You might check the Watters Too line, it's got a lot of fun reception dresses that are reasonably priced, not quite as "robust" as a wedding gown but still very bridal. Have so much fun on your wedding day...relax and really soak it in. I was so thankful we were able to enjoy it vs running around on a tight schedule, feeling stressed, etc. Definitely made us enjoy it more!

17thandirving @fancypantsmcgee you have to be true to you! I'm from the south originally where the big structured, strapless ballgowns or mermaid lace styles are typical. That's what my mom wanted me to wear. I knew that wasn't me! My dad is actually the one who was like "this dress is totally YOU, we're getting it!!!" I felt like it was feminine but not over the top, and if ever a day to feel like a total girl...it's your wedding!!! Maybe you could find a great tulle skirt / beaded tank/corset/shell??

cloudrider9 Your blog is amazing and has convinced me that I do need to buy and read Marie Kondo's book. I had it on my reading list but put it off. Looking at my family (grandparents, parents, sibling, aunts etc) I'm pretty sure impulsive buying, hoarding, and/or cluttered living runs in my family genes (I'm actually on the organized side of the spectrum). I should be handing the book out to everyone at Christmas in place of the usual material goods.
