ukgirl71 It's just my opinion but I like to see "real" women wearing the items because the majority of women are not photo shopped or surgically enhanced. Again just my opinion and we all know the saying about opinions. 🇬🇧

shelshel14 @ukgirl71 we don't pose for pictures and we don't have others who can. We carry so many sizes that there is no way we could. If I were a Macy's clearly I would have real avg sized or plus sized professional models. But I don't. We aren't comfortable with doing them. Not much else we can do other than use our mannequin and use pictures we can.

drinksgriffin I understand. Truly, some would be more successful selling the item if they did not model it. The way it looks them does not reflect how it would look on someone else. If the item is new or not, I'd rather it not be worn (perhaps again) for me to purchase.

missy980 I so agree with you! Most of my items I can't fit no do I want to ship items I've model in. It's really just like online when you buy on all major sites. Those are models Macy's employees are not modeling cloths or Gucci whatever. Lol they are just don't have the time to dress up. Most of us are literally at work hustling.. I say read your seller reviews and know that people that have purchased previously from them are not lying

new_life_resale I modeled a pair of shorts one time for someone who asked... I wore them around my thigh and uploaded to the listing! 🤣 I think they finally understood that not everyone sells JUST their clothes! I deleted the listing but I got a good 😂

lovelyroxxy I am new here, a month and half in. I been seeing post like these a lot. Would it be recommend for me to have my rules post? shelshel14 @lovelyroxxy It doesn't happen as much as it used to for me. when I first started it was almost as if it was people messing with me. All the time asking me to model clothes and ridiculous questions like is this still available when it clearly is..... I typed this up because I want to be sure I have a disclaimer in the event something comes up. your welcome to screen shoot this and use it.

nixiebarmeve I personally think you know your size and if not you should learn it. And I wouldn’t want to buy a new item but have someone try it on before I bought it but that’s me personally..... but people actually take your listing and put their closet attached to it? How is that even possible? It’s sucks you even have to post that but I get it.

The first sale I ever made it ended up costing me money. So having rules that not only the customer should follow but I need to have rules I stick too as well. carolineshoppe As someone who makes purchases on Poshmark the reason why I sometimes ask if the item is available is because I’ve purchased items where the seller never shipped my item or responded and then I have to wait 7 days before I can cancel my order. In the meantime I don’t know if they will ship it or not so I can’t purchase the item from another seller.

carolineshoppe Buyers are frequently told to ask to see real pictures because many scammers post stock photos and then ship out items in really poor condition or knock offs that are nothing like the photos.
