pinotgrigiogirl Awwwe! This made me tear up. My dad loved thrifting as did my brother. They loved to peddle their found treasures at the local flea markets and hold garage sales. I know they'd get a kick out of the fact that I'm selling stuff. ♡♡

In fact, when I have time this summer, I plan to try and sell lots of things on here. My daddy died of cancer. I could give all proceeds to cancer research. I am so glad to see this on your page. You have given me such a great idea about doing something in memory of my daddy.

densko I'm sorry to hear of his passing. Life is too short, and we should enjoy every moment that we're given with the ones closest to us. We LOVE to thrift shop too, and Its the best feeling when you pay 1/4 or less. I know you have a very proud, loving, watchful eye smiling down upon you. 😀 Keep up the great work! 😍😍

cherrytreekiss I’m sorry about your dad. He reminds me of my glory days and the men I knew. They were very special times. I’ve passed thrifting on to my daughter. We were the first real generation to find fashion in second hand items. Not hand me downs...true searching for that one crazy item. Bless you.

bettalia I learned the love of thrifting from my dad too. He passed a year ago and now I find myself wandering through thrift stores at least once a week thinking of him and trying to find the kinds of deals that inspire me to want to call him and tell him.
