My definition of VINTAGE “Aged w/beautiful imperfections and ageless hallmarks”

$2 $4,567

A unique or older version of today's fashion statement. It says something. It's distinguished. However, its dated with imperfections. Some may even need more cleaning or repair. My items are in good to excellent condition. But you & I may see condition differently, so ask as many questions as you need, look at all pictures & ask for more if you need to. But remember it's older & used. If you can live with that, you are ready for the most fab in vintage. If you can’t. Txs for stopping by.

luxie17 😭😭I wish people would stop using “vintage” so loosely. I love finding vintage clothes, shoes etc...👗👠I adore how quality clothes used to be made...everything is mass produced in today’s world. I’ve read items should be at least 20yrs old before being called vintage.

abrazosybesos @luxie17 - 1) -Thank you for the very kind feedback and shares. You are clearly a person of discerning taste and know the value in vintage. Some folks do not, which is the reason why I felt the need to post this. Another reason I posted it is because I want folks who love & purchase vintage to have realistic expectations about purchasing a vintage item. When you buy a vintage item it’s never going to be perfect and it shouldn’t be compared with new stuff.

abrazosybesos @luxie17 2) Its been loved (and perhaps abused) by someone who, at the time of purchase, loved it too. It’s the beauty & craftsmanship that should be admired for standing the test of time and overall hold it beauty. The last reason I posted this is because the seller can later be blamed for imperfections and even an item breaking after receipt of the item or intentionally having withheld a damage (happened to me). Like everything else here,

abrazosybesos @luxie17 3) Like everything else here, it’s important to to remember to purchase from a responsible seller (view ratings), recall how you were treated and how the item was packaged for delivery to you. It says it all. Also, focus on description and pictures. And finally, ask questions or more pics? In my case, I offered to take the item back regardless of my 20% loss & offered to pay return shipping.

abrazosybesos @luxie17 -4) I didn’t believe it was fair to be accused of knowingly deceiving a buyer or paying for repairs for on an item already out of my hands and older. It was a classic beautiful that would have cost more any where else.

abrazosybesos @luxie17 - 5) I n the end the buyer chose to keep the item recognizing it’s value & my honesty given my willingness to pay for returning it (at a 20% loss) & shipping. That’s why I now video every sale and would refer a buyer to go through POSH to return. My apologies for the looong response. But, I wanted to explain.

barbarajill555 This says it all!! My other unfortunate experience here was a pair of Gucci bamboo heels with reptile. They got returned to me because the young buyer complained they were peeling and lifting! Try explaining the nature of real leather skins to people who don’t know Gucci from Guess. These babies are back home with me but still listed in my closet as “sold.”

abrazosybesos @barbarajill555 - so glad for you. If a buyer asks too many questions that I, at my age know is quality, I tell them to do research and come back after. That’s also why I added this. Don’t have the patience for buyers who instead of becoming educated expect you to defend your high end item.
