These vintage traditional Indian silver earrings are made for movement. They comprise two main portions linked together with many tiny silver balls attached in clusters throughout. Notice the braided rope detail outlining the edges and the slight cone-shape to the main silver portions, which are carefully oxidized to emphasize the design. The balls softly jangle when you move, adding a kinetic effect. The backsides have a rougher finish, compared to the more polished fronts, and carry the markings of their hand-crafted origins.
