Vintage Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Coin Purse

This tiny vintage Whiting & Davis coin purse probably dates to the late 1940s. Made in the iconic gold mesh style with a kiss lock, this early piece is tarnish-free on one side and has substantial tarnish on the other side. The inside shows some heavier wear and thinning in the lining. The brass frame bears the mark "LH Made in Belgium, while the inside label is the standard Whiting & Davis Made in USA trademark for the era.
