Vintage Tasmanian Maireener Shell Long Necklace. Absolutely stunning and brilliant timeless piece of jewelry! Reasonable offers considered. Beautiful antique. Lovely iridescent blues and greens! Measures approximately 32" around. Shells are approximately 2 millimeters each. Age appropriate wear but overall well kept for it's age! Fabulous necklace dating from the Art Deco period traditionally made by the Aboriginal ladies using natural Tasmanian Marineer shells which are a lovely iridescent colour which were popular during the Deco period to match the flamboyance of the era.
