1999 Tahari long navy dress with unattached inside slip. Handsewn spaghetti straps, bias cut, slight hi-low hem, beautiful asymmetrical neckline with stitching detail at all edges. Worn once. Size 2, and very forgiving design due to bias cut and darts at bust on both dress and slip (truly great on a variety of shapes). All straps left intact so you can let them out to longer length (was professionally altered to tack them slightly shorter, see photos, easy to undo) This was purchased at Saks NYC in ‘99 for a wedding occasion, worn once and kept in a garment bag since. It’s in impeccable shape, dream thrift piece - looks like new. No fading, no marks, no snags or holes. Fabric is a lovely textured chiffon, and slip is more smooth. Feels AMAZING on! Both have a detailed border at necklines and hems. Smoke and pet free home.
