Vintage Sunglasses French 1960s Carita Paris France Oversized Butterfly Bug Eye

Carita Paris Sunglasses. Made in France. Circa 1960's. Excellent pre-owned condition. Hard to capture their true color. Clean purple with a persimmon orange kinda color. Lenses have slight scuffs that IMO don't interfere with vision. See photo where I’m holding them up to my light. Gradient plastic lenses. Thick acetate frame with floating confetti chunks. Double riveted hinges on each temple. PETITE FIT folks. Width between the hinges 5". Frame widens to 5 3/4" at ear bends and can be adjusted with heat to fit narrower (or wider) by your optician *if you need. Do NOT bend temples yourself. Please read all the measurements below and compare them to a pair you already wear for size comparison. Refer to diagram which shows you how to measure yours, it's where I measured these. Just relying on your eye size or stamped size NEVER indicates a sure fit. Space between the hinges is VERY important for a good fit too. The top rims will sit at or above your eyebrows when worn at your bridge. HINT: Your Bridge lines up with the center meridian of your eyes. Eyewear is final sale.
