Vintage Plique-à-Jour Cloisonné Glass Candle Holder w/ Crane Pale Pink Luminary
Highlights

Vintage from the 1990s
A delicate and luminous plique à jour cloisonné glass candle holder by William “Bill” Yee, dating to the 1980s–1990s. Crafted with enamel over glass, this piece glows softly like stained glass when lit, creating a warm and elegant effect.
The design shows a white crane standing among blossoms and bamboo, outlined in fine wire with subtle enamel colors and a brass rim. In Chinese symbolism, the crane represents longevity and peace, while blossoms represent beauty and renewal. The pale pink/beige ground makes this one especially soft and versatile in display, pairing easily with a range of interiors.
Excellent vintage condition with only the lightest surface wear to base from age. No cracks, chips, or repairs. When illuminated, the pastel ground and crane motif shine beautifully.
Measures about 3.5” tall × 4” wide. A lovely stand-alone piece, or display it alongside other plique à jour cloisonné glass for a glowing collection.
Please note: Vintage items are pre-loved and may show minor signs of age-related wear. I try to carefully document any flaws accurately. Please review all photos and reach out with questions.
