Elegant leaf Opal pendant with intricate design. Gold chain complements the pendant. The seller claimed it was sterling silver but it is not. Also the opals are very likely resin opalite. It is 14 1/2” in length but could be lengthened. Still a stunning costume necklace.
Definitely necklace wouldn’t be originally priced at $120 as the seller stated unless it was made by a high end costume jewelry designer but there are no such markings. I don’t wear much costume jewelry because I have sensitive skin and I can develop rashes.
Lesson learned, I should not accept any purchases until I examine it and make sure it matches with the description as well as what the seller states. I am disappointed but will chock it up as a learning experience. I really hoped I got what I thought I paid for.
A purchase I regret getting and an example of placing a blind trust on sellers. They seem sincere and make claims but you realize it is not at all like what you thought it would be once you actually get it in the mail. This incidence reminds me to be weary about some sellers and purchase with caution here.
Also it reminds me as a seller, how not to be. I want my buyers to know what they are buying is exactly as I described and stated. I don’t make claims on items that I am selling that are not true. If I do not know for sure, I state that. I value honesty as a seller and in humanity overall.
If I ever knowingly did lie about what I sell, I would be disgusted with who I am.

If I ever sold an item where I stated in full confidence something about the item that is not true (which would be an extremely rare mistake on my part) I would accept a return, no question and give the buyer a major discount on a future purchase. If it was too late for them to file a claim and so they reposh it along stating that it was not as claimed, I would promise to by it back for how much they paid for it including shipping costs.

Oops I meant that I would promise to buy back the item at the price they bought it from me. Why?!? Because I am raised to have good morals and would feel guilty.

Even after I gave the seller an honest review including stating it could not be sterling and stated how disappointed I was, she was still confident it was sterling silver …but sterling silver is not magnetic- that is a fact and this necklace is! 😕
