Vintage Nantucket Woven Basket Handbag w Seagull Bird Square Wooden Decor

Vintage Nantucket Basket / Purse with seagull detail on top of wood square, scrimshaw style peg closure and on side handles approx 5.5" tall, with handle 11" tall, 7" long, and 4.5" wide not signed or dated, very similar to seagull decaled ones from Whaler Crafts from 1960 but tag inside says "Made in Hong Kong" so this is likely an imported imitation basket Pre-owned with signs of wear. The fabric on the inside lid is loose towards the front and loose inside of the basket. The Woven loop to close box is loose as well. The loop on the back of the lid is loose as well. The woven parts on the rest of the basket are in great condition.
