Pens show signs of use and age. • MONTBLANC 144 vintage fountain pen Made in W-Germany and labelled with PIX on the cap band. This is pre-serial numbers and pre-two tone nibs. This example is from the 1980s - considered the transitional period pen. There’s no piston filler and uses cartridges or a converter. Shows some scratches and a chip in the resin on the main pen body. 14k nib labelled 585 & 4810. Cartridge inside has dried but should work fine with a new cartridge or converter. Broad nib? • MONTBLANC ball point pen Has a modern Montblanc ball point cartridge and shows a serial number on the cap band. There was a crack towards the end of the pen that was repaired at one point. I bought the ball point cartridge last year and works fine. Please see images. Stand not included.
