Vintage Digsmed Design brand solid wood item from Denmark. I believe this is meant to be an ice bucket or a wine holder as it has a plastic insert inside to protect the wood from wetness. 12 inches tall without the lid, the lid adds another couple inches. Extremely solid and heavy! This was my grandmothers and is an older piece, from the mid century modern design era. She also had items from Dansk and other similar wood designers. I couldn’t find this exact piece online, but similar type pieces are selling for double my asking price! Cool find for a collector or maybe the antique roadshow.
