Vintage Carved Celluloid Appetizer Forks & Holder

Vintage Carved Decorative Celluloid Appetizer Holder w/Lid & 23 (One Shy of a Dozen) Molded & Carved 2-Prong Appetizer Forks. Rose Motif on Main Portion of the Cylinder Over a Diamond Patterned 'Screen' Background. Bottom is Banded & Finished w/a Delicate Ring of Leaves. The Top Has the Same Leaves Around the Lip, But in a Flat Pattern. Very Top has a Triangular Cross-Hatched Pattern Surrounding a Raised Section w/a Carved Forget-Me-Not, Single Leaf, & the Leaves of a Tulip Which Are 'Below' the Raised Carved Tulip that is Used to Remove the Lid. Inside are 23 Each Molded & Carved Three-Pronged Appetizer Forks (or Forks Used to Spear Olives, Onions for Martinis). Note: Lid only Sits on Top of Cylinder, it Does Not Screw Tight. The Piece Measures Approximately 5" From the Bottom to the Top of the Tulip. Cylinder Measures Approx. 4" High w/a 2-3/8" Diameter/7-1/4" Circumference Around the 'Skinnier' Section. Interior Measures 3-3/8". Forks Measures 3-3/8" Long & Stamped Hong Kong.
