This incredibly beautiful authentic vintage Yves Saint Laurent wrap dress from the 1980s is crafted from a very unique silk in deep rich hues of green, blue and red tartan motifs on a black background with a silvery metallic sheen. The dress features padded shoulders and a subtly pleated front with a very deep v-neckline and tapered sleeves and finishes right below the knee, a classic YSL cut that is very typical for the designer's dresses from that period. It wraps around the body and closes with two hidden hooks and eyes. It is fully lined. The fabric is silk & metallic, fully lined in acetate & rayon. Made in France. The dress has the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche label and is labeled a size 36 which is estimated to be a modern day US size Small or size 6/8.
