Vintage 10k Lavaliere Earrings w/White Sapphires

Dazzling pair of vintage solid gold Art Nouveau-Deco Openwork drop-dangle post-earrings in 10k with shimmering white sapphires. Threaded posts, and harp-shaped screw-on backs are stamped; ‘10k K.G.C.’ For the Kimberly Gem Co- NYC active from the early 1900s-1970s and owned by ‘Albert Lorsch Co.’ They are in excellent, vintage preowned condition with very little signs of wear. I’m not an expert, just a collector- but it’s my opinion that they date to the early 1950s, and are a wonderful nod to the end of Nouveau, and the birth of the Art Deco movement. Exquisite intelligent design and craftsmanship throughout, with perfectly cut sapphires, prong-set in an airy, geometric ‘filigree’ openwork design to maximize the light, and enhance their brilliance. These are quite lovely, and a rare find. They have been professionally cleaned and sanitized, and placed in the red velvet gift box shown.
