Victorian Pin Brooch Red Glass Stone C Clasp

Lovely browned, Victorian vintage antique pen, glass red stone set in a scalloped Bezzle with leaves pen has a C clasp and this is comprised of two pieces of metal put together to form the pins so it is hollow inside I believe… Measures one and 1/4 inch aroundlovely old piece.. I don’t know what the metal is. It’s not super heavy could be brass could be a plated with gold. I am not sure if there are no markings, but this is definitely all this came from my friends grandmother’s jewelry box.
