VINTAGE 1990's St. John Large Rhinestone Tiers Choker and Back Drop Necklace NWT

This Vintage 1990's St. John Large Rhinestone Choker and Back Drop is STUNNING!! Incredible RARE find! Gold Toned chain with large sparkling rhinestones on 3 tier choker. Adjustable clasp!! The BACK DANGLE is GORGEOUS!! Approximate length of choker tiers are 14" adjusts to longer/ drop approx 24 1/2". St. John Knits was founded in 1962 by fashion model Marie Gray along with her husband, Robert. Clothing made by this company, jewelry, and other accessories have been sold in upper-end department and specialty shops the world over. Most St. John tailored jewelry pieces were made throughout the 1980s and ‘90s when this brand comes to mind. These include gold-plated logo earrings, enameled bracelets, and lengthy necklaces decorated with jewel-toned cabochons. Jewelry marketed by St. John Knits features a stylized SJ mark that mimics the company's logo. While St. John did market some rhinestone jewelry, many styles use a bit of sparkle as an accent rather than the star of the show. There are a few exceptions with some glitzier pieces.
