Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 OG reverse mocha

As a kid I always wanted to buy a pair of Jordan's. 12 yrs old. I was an athlete. 6' nothing, 185lbs and believe it or not I was in modeling (don't judge me the aged & much fatter me haha). I was popular then. I came from section 8, we called it the hood for a reason. Money wasn't growing on trees. I remember asking my dad for a decent pair of shoes. "Dad, can I please get some decent shoes?!", I asked knowing it was against the rules to talk about money in my family. we were poor is what I heard and knew. I told my dad GBX and Payless shoes wouldn't cut it anymore, and with passion. haha. I never forget my dad told me he would buy what he could afford. And if I was really wanting some shoes then I should work to get what I wanted and to take what I was given. I washed cars, cut lawns and went to the nice neighborhoods and cleaned pools. I begged my dad to take me to the store with $266 dollars knowing I would buy a pair of Jordan 1s. I just want yall to know, in Texas it's shoe culture (for youngsters! adults are cars, wheels, candy paint & shoes!!) I just remember working in Texas heat, looking at my money I worked for and thinking for $130 per pair it wasn't worth it. I saw 2 pair of Reebok for $89.99... I knew I was rocking Reeves from them on!! haha. love shoes. love love em. I bought my first pair of Jordan shoes as a gift to myself at 36 years old. 24 yrs of window shopping and knowing kicks like my reflection. these were the first.
