luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg I can't be sure on gender until they get a bit older, but we've been calling them a "her". 😅 My BF brought her home and surprised me! He said I make such a good gecko mom that he thought I should always have one to care for. 💛🦎💜

luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg She won't be full grown until around 18months, she's about 2-3months now. I expect her to end up being 8-10in long! She eats A LOT for a baby! Around 10 insects a day!!

luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg Yes she's a Leopard Gecko, just like Madam Geckerson, but Sunny has very different colouring. I believe she has albino traits! Once she's around 6months her pattern and colouring could darken up and get spots, but if she's albino maybe not! I have no idea what to expect, and it's pretty exciting! She stays in her tank for now, and I handle her in there. She's still too small and fragile to risk any falls!

luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg Oh yes, she has overhead lamps and an under tank heater she needs it to be about 85 degrees during the day, and 80 at night. Honestly, taking care of reptiles feels a lot like a science experiment!! 🦎😆🙌

luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg We made the filling out of vegan cream cheese & crab cakes, with some garlic, scallions, & vegan fish sauce! I made the sweet&sour sauce with maple syrup, dark&rice vinegar, lemon&lime juice, chili flakes, and corn startch. I can't believe how good it turned out! Wish I could share with you!

I do sometimes use recipes I find online, but this time I just winged it, and it came out even better than when I'd used a recipe! My fiancé & I are huge homecooks, so we've gotten pretty good at making things without recipes! So good in fact, that we rarely go out to eat anymore because the food we make at home is so much better! 😅🤤 Chili is on the menu tonight!
