emma_leigh13 @xtinamarie8898 Thank you, she is, sleeps under the blankets with me. My black cat passed years ago, but when she was alive I'd have both curled up next to me. It was like a heating pad set on high. Didn't need heavy winter blankets though.

luneleanoreve @emma_leigh13 I suspected she was a "she"! What is her name? That is so precious! Tomo will only sleep with me if I set her blankie up a certain way. Haha She was taken from her momma cat when she was just 4weeks, so she often mimics nursing behaviour on a blanket before she settles down. I honestly feel kind of bad for thinking it's adorable!

My black cat was named Mystic, but we called her Punkin & even though I'd love to have my 1st (Buster) back & Sammers to never die, she was just special. I don't really know how to explain it. Have you had others?

luneleanoreve @emma_leigh13 I completely understand what you mean, as sad as it is. Tomo is a one in a million girl, but I had a cat named Sheba for 12years who was my spirit animal. No words to express how deeply I connected with that cat. This might sound lame, but even though she's been gone 6years now, I still shed tears. Cats are just incredible in the way they make a forever home in your heart. 💗💗💗

flynncollective Oh my! Our kitty kats could almost be twins! I took a second and third look😻 She was abandoned at hubbys job at 4 weeks also! KITTY is now 1yrs old! She had been abused and was emaciated. She's a true blessing because my son is autistic and SHE KNOWS and is his best friend/guard kitty! Your Tomo is just so purrrty and has a pretty awesome mom too!😻❤😻

Having been taken from her mummy cat so young, she has some idosyncracies that just tug at my heartstrings. She is a devout affection eater; will not eat anything unless I am with her, giving praise. And she also nurses on blankets almost daily. Completely perfect to me. 😻😻😻

I actually unearthed them a couple days ago and was really considering listing them on here. I'm not sure what to do though, 'cause I def don't want to appear to support animal atrocities, but if someone else could use them and avoid buying something like that retail... I'm torn!!

followme73 @xtinamarie8898 The reason I'm listing them is because when I purchased them I wasn't aware of how animals were treated but now it makes my stomach turn to have them. People are going to purchase animal made products wether we like or not, and your right at least there not purchasing a new one! But also I understand you having an emotional attachment to them. It's a difficult dissicion, it took me a long time. I hope this helps 💕🍁🍃

I guess tortoise-shells are lacking white, that's the difference! Thank you for posing the question and inspiring me to find the answer! 😘

I want to eventually get a specific sack/backpack for her to hang out in comfortably so that I can take her on short hikes with me. luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg The name of the bag I want to try for her is called, Cat in a Bag! It’s meant to replace crates for taking our friends to the vet/travel. You carry them over your shoulder, so you can still hold onto them like babies! If she takes well to the introductory bag, I will do more research as to something a little “sturdier” for taking her hiking! Tomo is 7lbs! 😸

Tomo likes riding in canvass shopping bags, so I hope she takes to the cat bag too. She can’t tolerate crates/car rides without getting sick, so I changed her vet to one within walking distance... I’m hoping this bag makes the short trip enjoyable rather than miserable for her!

Believe it or not, she loves her vegan food even better than her old food, and she’s healthier than ever. 😻 Small, indoor, female cats are the best candidates for a vegan diet! 👍

luneleanoreve @spookyheartsg I would love to see your turtles! I love all animals. Tomo's older sister is a Leopard Gecko named, Madam Gerckerson... She's 15yrs old! AZ! What a wild place to live! Tomo and I live in VT and we think it's hot when it hits 90°! I absolutely hate snow and cold though, so I'd prolly love AZ in winter. Keep checking that Pumpkin is eating and drinking normally. Maybe she is feeling drained from such heat? If she starts seeming sick, call your vet and ask what they think!

Mostly just a lot of farmers who can barely even speak English! 🙀😹 Sometimes I hear French, as we border with Canada, but that’s it. Not even Spanish is spoken around here! I wish she found stones and crystals more interesting, but her favourite is wildflowers. She doesn’t try and chew them like store bought ones, but rather just sits and stares at/sniffs them! I actually pick them now more for her than for myself! She’s strictly an indoor angel, so I always bring some form of nature back from my walks for her. 🌿😻🌼

If she starts getting a bit too wild to early in the AM (like today for example!), I put on some healing frequencies and she settles right down! This morning we’re listening to singing bowls. 😄 Madam Geckerson is less interested in sounds, and more in squirmy mealworms. Very ironic to wake up as see you mention her, as I actually dreamed about her!! I dreamed she began transforming into an iguana before my eyes...? 🙀🦎😹

disettie I wish I could do the same for you! xo. I just love your kitty. My son used to have one almost identical to yours when he was quite young. He named her Angel Eyes for her beautiful green eyes, and we called her Angel. She showed up on our front porch one day. We tried to find the owner but never did, so we kept her. She followed my son around everywhere!

disettie Angel Eyes and my two mini Doxies got along so well. My toy Doxie that I have now adores cats! She just watches them and slowly comes towards them. Cats and bunnies. 🐱🐰 When she’s friends with them, she licks them on the nose. I really need to get a picture of that. 😍

Although I have thought about adopting another, if she lived to 15, I couldn’t see myself slinging around a 35 pound box of litter at 85 that I can do now.
