As most of You know, I have been off Posh to take care of some personal matters and I am getting to the point where hopefully I can be a little more active. I have a couple of very sweet friends who have continued to keep me in the loop even while I have been away, so at some point I will probably start tagging for parties again. poppy64 @nikkixyz Hi Nikki! Ok, so this may be way more info. than you wanted and if so I apologize in advance! I love your closet and I'm sure you will be do very well on Posh. I don't know if You know about the parties they have every day or not? They have 3 parties every day that have a theme and you can share items from your closet that fit the theme for more exposure for your closet. When you share an item from your closet, it gets shared to your followers, but when you share to a party it gets shared to a party feed that is accessible to everyone, at the nightly parties there is also a separate showroom separate from the party feed, for items that are chosen and shared by the party hosts and get even more exposure because a lot of people check out the host picks and shop from them. Your closet must be a rule following closet to be chosen as a host pick, meaning that you can't sell items off of the app. Such as through P*ypal, etc., you can't advertise another selling venue such as ebay or other app that you sell on and you can't have non permitted items in your closet. No children's and men's clothing, undergarments makeup and swimsuits must be new with tags on, no liquids such as perfume, etc...You can find out what is and what is not permitted on the FAQ section, and a lot of great information and tips are posted in @queenmumm closet, I think she is on vacation right now but there are seriously lots if great info. that she has put together to help people. You have a great closet and I feel certain You will be very successful once you are established, the best advice I can give you is to get to know some of the awesome ladies here. Most of them are very sweet, caring and encouraging, they will help you get established and be there to help if you have questions, etc...SHARE a lot, your own and other peoples as well, usually people will reciprocate the shares if they are able to, and when they do it will be shared to THEIR followers which will be more exposure for you. The most successful closets say it is very important to share Your own closet at least three times a day as well. I would be happy to add your name to my tag list, I'm not on top of things right now like I would like to be, but usually the party hosts will make a party announcement with the theme and date of their upcoming party and ladies will congratulate them and share a list of closets that they can check out for possible host picks and especially to support and help them by sharing from their closets. They don't have as much time to take care of their own closets when preparing to host a party, and they always appreciate it. It of course doesn't guarantee that they will even check out your closet, but they often do if they have time. Sometimes it's hard to find rule following closets that also have what they are looking for in their picks, especially if they just have a little time to search. They usually are looking to showcase the best things they can find that fit the theme and their own style as well. So the better your cover shots, descriptions, etc are the better chance of getting HPs. All of the party info. is on the Poshmark Blog each week, and you can check it out and go to the hosts closets to congratulate them and support them, it's not necessary for You to be tagged, although I would be happy to add you to my list as long as You aren't taking Offline transactions, etc. I probably won't be tagging much for a few days as my whole family has the flu, and even then will only be doing it as I am able to, but I definitely won't be tagging every party. I would love to introduce You to some wonderful ladies too, if that's ok with You? Just let me know, totally ok if You'd rather not! poppy64 @nikkixyz Nikki Hi! I'm so sorry for My slow response, unfortunately we are all still sick, I'm embarrassed that I've already fallen behind, but life is just too much right now. Thanks so much for the well wishes! Hopefully soon! As for Poshfest, I would say if You are able to go, I absolutely would! I haven't been, and was hoping to go this year but it just didn't work out. I'm going to post a link here to the event page because there is a lot of info. on it that could answer some of your questions. A couple of Ladies shared some of their notes on Instagram last year (@enigma 💞) and luckily I was able to learn a little bit from what they shared, they have several panel discussions scheduled throughout the day on different subjects to help you make the most of your closet and to grow it into a real business if that's something you're interested in. You get to meet and network with all the awesome ladies and Poshmark team, which is huge, I think to be able to get to know the people behind the closets and the team that has put all of this together would be completely awesome! The poshmark team really wants to help everyone be as successful as possible and this is one of the ways they provide that. I hope You get to go! I think it's something that could benefit women in other areas of their lives as well, I've only heard positive things about it. I'm happy to help you find more info. on it if you need me to.
