Welcome to my closet! My name is Gabi (Gah-bee), 🌺🍃 I Posh part-time, and work full-time in Special Education. 📚I posh with my sidekick, Peaches (my pug). She is my everything and brings me great joy and purpose in this crazy world! That sounds adorable!😍💕We also have a springer spaniel named Callaway, a Norwich Terrier named Bubba, and then my pug, Peaches. Her older sister Muffin passed back in March a week after her 16th birthday...She is the reason for my love of pugs.

gpuglove @4romeosheart 💖Both her and Peaches were from pug rescue. Someone had given Muffin up at age 10 because they had gotten a new puppy that didn't get along with her 😒....But I'm glad they did so we could treat her as queen in our family. She was the light of our lives for those 6 years. 💕💕

4romeosheart @gpuglove I think what they did to Muffin is wrong I have heard of stories such as that too many times. My husband volunteers at the local Humane Society has seen so many dogs and cats dropped off simply because mommy or daddy changed their minds or the kids got bored or worst were abandoned.

gpuglove @4romeosheart 💕💕Some people should not own animals in the first place. 😒 As much as I love animals, I could never volunteer at an animal shelter. Props to your husband👏🏼💙I would want to take them all home with me.😭💔I am that person who has to flip the channel when those ASPCA commercials come on with the sad music otherwise I am in tears in a second. 💙 But I always say, if I ever win the lottery, I am saving as many as I can.😊💕

4romeosheart @gpuglove 😘😘We are the same way . I do the same thing I hit the last button on my control so I won't see the commercial myself. We rescued so many and found homes for them. We keep saying if we won the lottery we would buy the shelter and take all the pets and give them homes.

I appreciate that💕 I think it's the most fun part of this whole Poshmarking thing 😊I use 2 soft box lights that I bought off amazon in a kit for around $55 by the brand 'Limo Studio'. Super easy to set up and take down. Light bulbs are included. I always take advantage of natural lighting when I can, in conjunction with my soft box lights.

gpuglove @tofumonster922 I also bought a 'dress form' off amazon for my tops/dresses. I think that helps a lot and gives the buyer a better idea of how the item falls on the torso. Again, not necessary, but helps. I photograph those in front of a blank wall in my room with the soft box lights on each side at an angle and a small window that has natural light coming in. As far as my background for shoes, I made it myself.

gpuglove @tofumonster922 I bought 4 pieces of large foam poster board, put them all side by side and covered the whole thing with wood peel & stick wallpaper (from target) and that is just on the ground in one of my rooms and I use that as the background for my shoes.

gpuglove @tofumonster922 I will put my soft box lights up on each side towards the more towards the front at an angle and then I have one of those tall standing laps with 3 flexible lamp shades shining light down onto my background from behind. Adjusting the angles of the light as needed. That lamp has 2 white lightbulbs and 1 warm toned light bulb. 😊

gpuglove @tofumonster922 Not a problem💕 I feel ya! Lighting can be tricky and even with my lighting kit, I sometimes find myself still not getting the pictures to look how I want it. I'd say just be creative and have fun with it 😊 And even adding more description to your items could help, like including fabric and measurements and all that jazz. (That could also save you too if a case was open against you for some lousy reason).

Yes, it's totally addicting haha😆 I'd say just be patient, and the right buyer will come along. 🌟Tips, make sure to have searchable item descriptions in the 🌟listing title and in the 🌟description. So for example, your black and neon colored Nike shoes, I would for the title include brand, color, size and style name if any. (Men's Nike train quick black/neon SZ 11).

So again, a good description you should restate brand, colors, size, style name, condition, smoke free home?, and any flaws. 👌🏼

People like to know every detail 👌🏼Also, if you can, make sure to share your items to the themed parties. For example, Poshmark holds a "Best in shoes" party, so I would share your shoes to that party, that way it will get more eyes on your product.

When you share you own items, it doesn't go into that count. If you go to the app *on your phone, Hit the icon at the bottom right hand corner that looks like a newspaper with your closet name under it...Choose "My Posh Stats".

Go into parties and just go down the page and share 50 listings...many times you will get share backs. I probably do around 1,000 shares of other posher's items per day.

When they price drop, you will get a notification that "so and so" lowered the price of "that game" and that is your cue to re-share that game with your followers and follow all the poshers who also "liked" that game. Don't worry, you'll catch on once you look into a few different games 😉

The 3 morning/early afternoon parties are specific and the one in the evening is general, so make sure you share your closet to that party. If there is a party going on and the time you want to "share" you item, there will be an option to "share" your item to that party. 👍🏼

gpuglove @mk_rose_bud I am the same way. I don't like to wear tight clothing that shows my mid section, i've been struggling with my weight and right now I prefer looser, more flowy tops. As far as shopping online, I would compare measurements listed with a similar top that you have, if possible. When shopping on posh, it's great because you are able to reach out to the seller and ask for specific measurements.

For example, If I have thirty total listings in my closet, and the very first one listed sold, I would share all the other available items and the 'sold' listing that I did not re-share would appear last (at the very bottom).

As far as sold listings go, don't re-share those and they will automatically fall to the bottom as long as you re-share all your available listings at one time. 👍🏼I hope that makes sense 😉💞

gpuglove @hummingbirdjedi Aw Thank you! 😊❤️ Pugs are such sweet, loyal, playful, and mischievous little dogs. 💕 You really got to be careful with this breed in the summertime though. They can overheat much easier than dogs that don't have flat faces and that goes for any dog with a flat face. You also go to make sure you clean the folds, primarily the one above the nose so an infection doesn't occur from the buildup of dirt & debris, etc. I just use a washcloth or cotton ball with warm water.
