I recently had my pancreas, gallbladder, and spleen removed. I know money I make on here won't be nearly enough to cover the payment for the surgery. However I am hoping that every bit I earn in sales will help. So even if you don't buy from my closet, please share. Thank you,
Alex

I had the same TP/AIT surgery. Where did you have it done? How are you feeling. I am so sorry you had to go through that.

Hey @toodylynn i had my TP/IAT in Cincinnati at the University of Cincinnati. I am lucky I actually live here and have such great doctors in my area. I am sorry you went through it as well, I know it's a terribly hard thing. I hope your quality of life has been drastically improved!

I also live near one of the few hospitals that do the tp/ait. I am not what I used to be but I am so much better. I don't think I would be alive without the surgery. Hope ate you doing?

@toodylynn I'm doing a lot better. I don't have diabetes, though technically, I'll always have a diagnosis of secondary diabetes because of the TP/AIT. I'm on 1 unit of insulin still from right after the surgery, but I'm most likely going to be able to come off I'm doing so well.

The only real problem is GI. Still hard to eat a lot, and since I'm still on narcotics and weaning off, my digestion is slow. I'm sure you know. But the pain is gone, it's incredible. I do have other illnesses, but I've been dealing with those since I was a child. I'm glad you are doing better. It's a blessing to live near a hospital that does this. @toodylynn

That is great. I had my tube in about the same amount of time. You will start feeling better nowthatyoucaneat. The best advice i received was to remember, it takes a year to recover. Every month you feel better. I couldn't believe how much better I was at 18 months. Please contact me if you have Any questions or just want to talk. Dlrekstad@gmail.com.
