1 1/2 inches is the tube and well crafted by a local WI artist. This is a sterling slip with an Onyx Stone for a centerpiece. Marked sterling on the back and it has a mark of a circle inside a circle or perhaps a crecent moon or it could just be a copywrite symbol stamped on the back as well.

mkd2017 Hi…how does this look worn as pendant? Shown as pin. Does chain go through tube? Not sure if it would lay flat. Thanks😄

legendarywi @mkd2017 I wore it with the chain through the loop on top of the tube, and it hangs nicely on the neck. I think if you use a super long chain it might move around but I use an 18" chain and loved it. Hope that helps
