First, a basic timeline.
October: jewelry, accessories, and some clothes – generally size 12 and up.
Early November: more clothes.
Thanksgiving to late Feb: the shop will be on hiatus as I go through rounds of surgery and recovery.
March on: a mountain of clothes followed by a final purge that would make Marie Kondo proud.
Warning: here come the details and personal backstory.
Over the last eight years, I’ve been working on getting healthy. For me, this included losing over 200 pounds. During that time, I shopped sales, poked through thrift stores, inherited pieces, and bought items of hopeful motivation. I had no idea what size I’d be nor what style I'd fall for, so there’s going to be LOTS of sizes and lots of styles that’ll be coming through here. I’m still a few months out from knowing my true measurements hence the timeline.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL of that long break listed from November to March. Part of my recovery is not to lift any weight. Packing and shipping clothes will not be possible during this time, and no exceptions will be made.
Other notes: there'll be quite a few NWOT items. When I first started purchasing for ‘down the road,’ I washed everything before putting it away. It wasn’t in my mindset to keep the tags to resell the items that ultimately wouldn’t work. There'll also be some new size 11 tall boots; 200 pounds may have come off my body, but my calves will not be tamed!
Smoke/pet free home.
Thank you for considering my closet!
