Hi Allie, I finally found you again. My suggestion is to tread a small gauge needle and thread with silk thread the darker color of blue. Tie a knot on the end and gently pull the blue yarn together, covering the empty space. I think I would add a second stitch to be sure it holds, and then slip stitch a few times to secure. I think both areas could be repaired this way. Let me know how it goes. Wish I could be of more help.
