shankillelk Who makes this horn, and how old is it. Also what famous orchestra? Is it ready to play?

drippingexpress @shankillelk Yamaha, it is ready to play I actually just got it refurbished and it is from 1980s and wasn’t actually played on until 2012. I don’t know who the famous or Astro that owned it all I was told was that it was owned by a famous orchestra.

buntingb
buntingb I have been shopping for a used tenor to add to my collection of saxophones. Just so you know a yts (yamaha tenor sax) 26 is a beginner student model and by no means rare, or high end. No one who plays professionally in an orchestra would ever play on this instrument. This is a model commonly rented to 5th and 6th grade beginner band students, for sale on yamaha site for $2,600.

drippingexpress @buntingb yeah I found that out my grandma told me it was from a orchestra so I believed her and didn’t do my own research.
