hi, how thick is this? and is it waterproof?

Hi! With the lining it’s very warm, but not overwhelmingly thick they my daughter couldn’t move. It is described as water repellent and water resistant, not 100% water proof. My daughter wore it last year once or twice and never was cold or wet when done!
