A breathtaking antique decorative porcelain plate, entirely hand painted, made in France in the 19th Century.
The plate measures 9 3/4 in of diameter and depict the Siege of Lille (1792) during the French Revolutionary War, as per the inscription on the back.
No other maker’s mark or signatures on the piece.
Antique item with no condition issues with regular signs of age.

@leo856 just wondering if the gold paint contains gold? Usually does, may not be marked...its a beautiful piece!!! is it part of your own collection, or an auction item?

@jmagromd Thank you! It may be gold but I am not sure, the only thing I am sure is that is very old and hand painted by a great artist of the era, the painted scene is so detailed.
I acquired it from a customer a few years ago, please let me know if you have any other question.
