VERY RARE — oval BUTTERFLY Porcelain LIDED Box Porcellane D'Arte Agostinelli crafted in BASSANO, Italy Hand Painted. Italian art pottery at its finest. This beautiful delicate oval box is decorative and yet an art piece with delicate hand painted butterflies in such detail with beautiful colors of white, blue, yellows, oranges and 24k gold accenting. Stunning decorative trinket or vanity box evokes a romantic feeling when things were fine and people cherished them. Approximate measurements: 4.75” wide x 3.75” tall. Marked Porcellane d'Arte, (Dr Ermete) Angostinelli, in Bassano Italia, Made in Italy. Lid and exterior of box are beautifully glazed in soft ivory, while underside of box & top rim is unglazed.
