hateonlineshopp @widowed53 The base is from the equivalent of a heavy duty flower pot. I had to stack several large styrofoam pieces together to get the height and then the flowers are filled in all over to cover all of the styrofoam. Its held together with industrial glue but I would not handle it any other way other than upright... to ensure the styrofoam does not become detached from the flower pot...I would have to some how weight it to see what UPS would charge... it is not light weight.
