I have made a couple purchases through Poshmark and never did I think I would get scammed! This lady here scammed me of $775 she told me that she did not want to sell her bag through Poshmark because of the big chunk they take and that she had been scammed before she asked if I could zelle and idk she seemed legit so I asked if she had Apple Pay! I know my fault for trusting someone but please be carful she might scam you too I’ve reported her and my husband did also!

pretty_dricka Wow That’s crazy I had someone say the same thing but she’s a different person say to pay through Apple Pay because poshmark takes a percentage I’m scared to do it because I’ve never purchased off here before

poshmedaily @pretty_dricka Tips to keep you safe if you are new to posh. 1. Do not trust a seller with a phone number in their listings to call periodttttt 2. Do not email anyone offline 3. Do not send money to anyone off Poshmark 4. Poshmark authenticates all your purchased items over $500 before it’s shipped to you. 5. Be VERY careful with trading 6. Welcome to posh, be safe safe and happy Poshing 🥰💕💕

pretty_dricka @poshmedaily so if there’s an item I want do I make a offer and wait or do I go ahead and purchase it?

kingkenjiii This is exactly why I make my listings. I’ve been exhausted the last couple of days and haven’t reached out to warn anyone. I’ve reached out to thousands of people and it makes me sad that people are still falling for their crap. Just FYI these scammers make new profiles, there are tons of them on here with similar bags. Never Ever take any transaction off of posh guys! Sharing this post

rachael_in_nyc
rachael_in_nyc @pretty_dricka you can do either. But I’d recommend doing it from a seller who’s been on posh for at least a month or 2 and who has reviews. Positive reviews. Not just one. And never ever pay someone off Poshmark. You won’t be protected.
