Reproduction Civil War Gown

SALE PENDING made by me. black wool with brick red silk ribbon trim. metal hook and eyes down bodice front and at waist band and wrists. made using period construction methods. bodice is lined in white cotton and is flat lined. pipped neckline and arm holes and waist. skirt is cartridge pleated to waist band. bodice is basted to waistband and can be removed and skirt worn with another bodice and vice versa. condition. some spots and marks. mud stains on hem of skirt. and marks on inside of wrists. see photos. some trim on the skirt is loose and needs to be re sewn. still very wearable as it is! fit notes. made to be worn over a 27 inch waist and 39 inch bust with corset and proper underpinngs, 6 inch wrist. the way the gown is made, it could be let out to accommodate one more inch. was worn over a large hoop. I think it was a 110 inch hoop but definitely a 90 inch. can send additional measurements and photos upon request. will entertain offers!
