ellesinpink Not everyone can afford those high priced bags and tell me what is the point of them being so expensive other than to rip us off??? I respectfully dislike this post

ellesinpink @mi2zkay agree with you 100%

ellesinpink @lau_champagne7 well frankly I don't give a shit. Those same people who make this a crime obviously need to get to the real perpetrators like child molesters, rapist, and murderers. There is no reason a purse should cost that much period. I have my bag and it looks real as hell so I'm happy :D

tay57 @bella_x0 first off please understand I'm not bashing anyone for selling anything designer inspired but posh mark states that these items can not be sold on their site! But they sure do take their 20% when one sells. If you notice on their email they send us when we sell something it says your ( mine was a pair of bke shorts) has sold, now a lot of listings for designer inspired purses say (designer inspired) so when one sells they are aware of what is sold by the listing title, but they don't stop the transaction right then and there because it is illegal, NO they allow it to go thru and take their cut of the sale! I myself like a good designer inspired bag, but posh marks morals and standards are very questionable as they say one thing and then do another, but then posh mark wants us to do their job and report each other for selling such items! Doesn't make sense to me, who is breaking the law here?

tay57 @ellesinpink hello I liked your comment and am trying to share my thoughts on posh marks rules about designer inspired bags if you would please see my comment thanks

ellesinpink
ellesinpink @tay57 I agree :)

tay57
tay57 @bella_x0 Bella-xo and posh mark please do a search for designer inspired bags here on posh mark and when you do, look at all the sold designer inspired bags that say designer inspired in the listing and then add up how much all of the bags have sold for together, then subtract 20% off of that total( which is quite a bit) this is what posh mark has made from these listings that they say are illegal and not allowed on their site, my point is that they do allow the sale of designer inspired bags and are profiting from them! This comment is not about the buyers or sellers of designer inspired bags this is about posh mark allowing it. Posh mark is saying do as i say not as i do because what posh mark is doing is making money off these listings!!! If it is illegal then why does posh mark keep taking money from the sale of these designer inspired bags??? And for posh mark to say that they are trying to monitor and resolve this issue is an insult to everyone of us here! Posh mark is a big company with a lot of resources that could put a stop to these designer inspired bags selling on their site! But hey then they wouldn't be making that 20% off of something that is illegal!! And to anyone on here that bashes other women for buying or selling anything designer inspired shame on you!!! Just because you may or may not have more money and authentic purses doesn't make you better than anyone else!!! If your so mother f---ing great you should try to help out your fellow sisters that want a real bag and offer layaway (sorry about the mother f---ing comment) but come on with all your money and greatness do something great you'd still make money and make a difference in this world! Remember posh mark is profiting from these sales so why wouldn't people want the same? If your going to bash someone bash posh mark.

tay57
tay57 @bella_x0 You need to go after Posh Mark not the sellers!!! If you would read my whole post Posh Mark is the one who is breaking the law by taking their 20% from the sale of these items that they say are not allowed on their site. In fact you should report my posts to Posh Mark because they won't return my emails, if your so pro Posh Mark you are just as guilty as Posh Mark! It would be nice to see a real picture of you or are you ashamed to reveal your identity or maybe afraid , if you truly believe in what you say don't hide behind a cartoon picture reveal yourself ! And I say more power to the sellers! I might even buy a designer inspired item from one of them!

ammshaabamm Hi. I would like to put my two cents in this. I would never pay $1000000 for a bag but I do support 'inspired designer items'. You may say, well if I can't afford it I shouldn't get something that is an inspired bag/not the real thing or that I have a lot of options on other non-designer bags to buy, however I do not choose to buy those bags. I personally love Louis Vuitton top handles bags because I like the pattern, structure and sizing of the bag itself not because it resembles the name of the brand, but I would never shed $10000 on an item like that. It is also not fair for some individuals when they cannot afford designer items. You then may counterargument this by saying that it is not fair for the company, the designer, or the people that work hard for their money in order to afford these designer items. However, wouldn't you say it is also unfair for those that are working not one not two, but three jobs to support and raise their own family and also send money to their extended families to support them as well. This is my cousin. She is a single mother of three children and sends money to our grandmother all the time, yet she loves the look of Louis Vuitton bags as well but can never in her wildest dreams could she ever afford a 'real one'. People that share this thought this theory that individuals that are unfortunate than them should not be allowed to have counterfeit items because it takes away the creativity of the designer and their consumer market. Yet by saying this you are also putting other people down that are less fortunate than you are. You are then implying that if they cannot afford it they shouldn't be ALLOWED TO OWN SOMETHING LIKE IT.

ammshaabamm By the way. I am offended by your title, REAL WOMEN? What justifies you to know what a real women is. Can you account for every women in the world. You can justify yourself by saying, "I am a women, therefore, I know real women should never buy fakes" This is contradicting to your argument itself. Just because you, as a women, you personally won't buy fakes but what gives you the right to put women on a platform and tell them if they buy fakes they are not 'true women'.

ammshaabamm @lau_champagne7 I understand your point love because isn't that why we are all on posh? I personally grew up thrift shopping for a living cause I grew up in portland oregon one of the capitals of hipster vile so I personally understand where you are coming from when you mention recycling. I am also well aware that LV isn't all around $1000000 I was exaggerating my own mother has a trunk load of those items in her closet. However, where are your statistics coming from because I have not heard of any of those factual information. I know that whenever I am in Asia or in Europe, it is quite different where you can get a fake right off the streets. Therefore, my question to you is this, you claim that if it is illegal it then goes against your ethical code. Well that is simply because in Asia it is not against the law to sell counterfeit items, therefore, are they ethical? My sense of ethics law within thyself and not within the law.
