I did cut off the garment hanging straps though bc I didn’t want to worry about them poking out. But the spaghetti velvet straps and the additional upper arm straps that drape down make this easy to hang. For reference I am 5 feet tall (about 113lbs 35-27-36) & wore 5 inch platforms with it & it just grazed the floor as pictured. Easily hemmed to the length you prefer. Very supportive bust area meant to mimic a corset style - I did not feel the need to wear a bra. Fits true to a normal size 4 imo (usually what I wear) but is a stretchy comfortable velvet. GORGEOUS dress, I really loved it!
