For sale is a beautiful vintage necklace featuring authentic wampum heishi beads, hand-cut from natural quahog clam shells. These traditional shell beads display the iconic purple & white striations & are accented with small black stone chips (onyx or jet), mother of pearl tulips & gold-tone spacer beads. Finished with a secure barrel clasp. This necklace is a wonderful example of Native American-inspired craftsmanship, circa 1960s.
