PART 1-NFS new addition to my collection. CHANEL c.1960s dress custom designed from DARQUER lace. Based in Calais, Darquer has made beautiful lace since 1840. Tulip design w/ soutache braid. Strip of lace tulips cut, gathered/added to hem/cuffs Silk ribbon bodice, bow at waist, Jacket w/satin ribbon Hand sewn: inside seams, aeclair zipper (customary of Chanel during this period), silk covered snaps Chanel label missing, but i have a printed copy of vintage ad for dress from DARQUER Lace Co

luxurycloset212 @ovshopper - thank you for your interest. Correct, this vintage Chanel dress/jacket combo is not for sale but I had not considered renting it. It's a very beautiful, custom made dress with Daquer lace (a high-end French lace made in Caudry,, France). Given the delicate nature of the silk and lace (and given the fact that the outfit is one-of-a-kind, designer and at least 50 years old), I am hesitant to rent out of concern that it might be damaged, etc. Thanks

gt2fly To get the stain out use "tech!" stain remover it is colorless, nonstaining, non toxic, etc. just put it on, wait 15 minutes, use a white terry cloth or paper towels on both side of fabric and "blot" (squeeze tightly do not rub!) it will literally release the stain, continue wetting and blotting until stain is gone. I have removed ball point pen, makeup, dirt, blood etc. off of all kinds of fabric including suede! just google it, it really does work and won't wreck it. I buy it by the gallon

gt2fly for clothes you can launder, do so before it dries but you don't have to wash the item. I have used it on hats, purses, shoes, all kinds of things. It will not leave a "ring" if you just let it dry, but remember, DO NOT RUB!! I even got out taco grease but I rubbed the item and made it look worn out in the spot which didn't really show up until I washed it.

gt2fly you are "pushing" the stain through the fabric to the other side when you are blotting. (press from back side of fabric to front) press in one spot, move to clean spot, press again
