True maxi. New condition. Soft knit, scoop neckline in front but not too low, three vertical straps in the back, halter-dress-like. Elastic waist that’s not granny-goes-to-church style, meaning it looks nice alone, allowing the top to be blousy while still showing you have a waist and aren’t wearing a blue floral sack, or looks nice with a belt or a scarf tied in front or back. Size small, but fits like a medium - meaning it fits me like I’m not wearing wrong size clothes: 5’8” tall with platforms, not too big or too tight for a 34C who dislikes baggy tops and wears size 4 or 6 pants. If you are of more petite stature, like 5’3” like the rest of my female family, this dress will be too long and need hemming (completely do-able by hand or even fabric glue - the fabric has a very lovely soft hand). There’s nothing wrong with this dress. I just have too many, and this one is in excellent sale condition. It does not look like used clothing. Add a light colored linen-like or raffia wide belt and espadrilles. Also a broad-brimmed sunhat. Outdoor art festival perfect. A cropped cardigan would be cute.
