I have always thought it was inappropriate to ask what's your lowest. You don't go into a grocery store and ask that. You wouldn't ask that at Target, Wal-mart, etc. The price is there for a reason. It's not something there for entertainment. If you want to see about making a deal, you can ask but it should be done politely.
I always wonder what sellers are thinking when I like an item and they ask "Interested?" Why would I be looking at that item if I wasn't somewhat interested. And I pressed Like. There are a lot of reasons you might not be purchasing at that moment. What would a seller think if after they write "Interested?" if I replied "Nope I have no life and am obsessed with pressing Like buttons. Here's your sign."
:-0 I would never actually do that but there are times I feel like going "Duh"
Love the post. Sellers are trying to sell things while I am browsing and thinking about things before I buy them. I'm not a big impulse shopper.

8/)D. lol. One day you will or you'll think it and smile at the person who asked.
I don't say those things often but when I might, they usually don't get it.

@xobowtiquexo I must say I don't really mind what anyone asks me...everyone is different...I can always say, "no." It is confusing buying on here & making offers because everyone is different. As far as "low balling" goes...I have hesitated to offer a low price only to see an item sold a while later for less than I would have offered. You just never know! & a low price is subjective. Don't get angry over so called low balling. Just say, "Thank you for your interest." :)

@schlink I don't mind when anyone asks me anything either except the two questions I have posted ⤴⤴ there. Making offers is perfectly fine as long as they are reasonable. I personally think asking "what's your lowest" is a silly question. Where to even begin? Why not instead make an offer around the price I have posted? I'm not saying not to make offers. I'm saying that offers are great as long as they are reasonable. My items are already 40% and more off the original price....why would I sell it 40% off my already lowered price? I had lots of issues people asking to pay $40 for a wallet lets say was listed for $95. I find that kinda rude to the seller. && There isn't any anger. Just annoyance.

@xobowtiquexo Not trying to argue with you. Gave you my own different point of view. "Reasonable" is subjective. I honestly have hesitated to offer a low low price & then watched the item go for even lower. Good thing we're all a little different. Huh?

xobowtiquexo
@schlink Um...I wasn't arguing? Thank you so much for your point of view and for passing by my closet. Have a fantastic day!

@xobowtiquexo Sometimes that $95 wallet ends up going for $40 which is why it is so confusing to buyers regarding what is an appropriate offer. I know it seems aggravating when you know you don't want to sell so low but many people on here do sell that low & I think people see that & expect it from everyone. Do you see what I mean? You have a great day too. Thank you.
