Please be considerate when negotiating price. If an item is being offered to you for a certain price, PoshMark gets 20% of that offer. Then take out what you paid for the item & any shipping discount you may give the buyer. That doesn’t leave you with much of a profit. Here are a few examples: $20 - $4 (20%) - $2 (shipping discount) - $9 (what you paid for the item more or less) = $5 (profit). If you buy stickers, Thank you cards, tissue, bags, packing tape, boxes, bubble wrap, gas to go to the Post Office, or a little giveaway, all of that comes out of your profit. So think twice when making an offer, you have to sell a lot of items to make some profit, which is what we are all trying to do so please be kind with your offers. Poshers are trying to supplement their income or, in some instances, this may be their only income.
