maiposh8987 Hi Is it actually water proof/repellent? Took a coat from my my partner’s mom’s collection thinking it was a rain coat. With a flash flood watch coming at 2:30am it was already coming down well and the similar looking vintage coat gave me zero protection from the rain-lol. For whatever reason it seems I cannot find a decent raincoat that doesn’t look like something that a road worker would wear! Lllol

gmaspretties @maiposh8987 Hi! I have not put it to the test, but it has a storm flap, a detail that implies that it is a raincoat. The storm flap is the sort of mini cape on the shoulders. I will spray it with water tomorrow and see if it runs off. I will let you know the results.

gmaspretties @maiposh8987 I sprayed the coat with water on the front and back. It beaded up and ran down the coat surface. I added pictures to the listing in case you would like to see the test results.
