retagit @mandapanda83 I have been on the phone with my son who is overseas. I heard the phone dinging and peeked and saw it was you. When my husband gets done talking to our son I'll check my messages. I did see that you mentioned to Kim about changing her pic to pink. I wasn't complaining just pointing it out that the whole closet has a pink theme.

kdatsa Thank your son for his service! I'm a Marine Corp, Mom. My son is stationed in Japan at the moment. Was able to spend the month of July with him when he took leave for the year. And now another year before I see him unless I get the chance to go over there. Sure do miss him when he's gone! Prayers for all our sons and daughters that serve and protect with such remarkable bravery! 🙏 ❤️ Nice to meet you as well!

My son is in Iraq so it will be a year before I get to see him. He left in April. It's really nice to connect with another military mom who has a son deployed. We know what each other is going through. Does it ever get any easier?

We worry about them all the time and wait patiently by the phone for the next call to know they are ok. God bless your family and your son.

nanac3 I loved finding this!! My son finished active duty, and is now going to aeronautical university back home (near his mommy😜)! He was deployed to Iraq, and I KNOW the heart of a soldier's mom!! retagit @nanac3 His name is Nathan. He joined at 17, deployed at 20 and is currently 21. He is deployed in Iraq. He left the end of May and we are looking at anywhere from 9 months to 1 year. I'm glad we live in a time where we have cell phones and Skype. It makes it a little easier. I can't wait for him to come home!!

retagit @jennsclosetxo It is difficult but it helps that we get to talk to him once a week. One tip, send your b/f care packages as often as you can. They really love getting them and it gives them something to look forward to. Send food, gum, movies...they really love the food. Something as simple as Oreos or chips make their day. The things we take for granted since we can run to the store they can't get. I will be praying for him and all our troops.
