The top of the strap can be 18 1/2 inches down to the top of the purse or it could be 28 inches depending on where you buckle the strap. I’m not sure what the confusion is. I hope this makes sense to you.

@stephanydip sorry I just have to make double sure the length will fit me crossbody because I have a larger chest and need a longer strap. I’m looking for the measurement from the middle of the strap (shoulder) to the top of the purse.
