Offers expire in 24 hours, so there is NO NEED TO DECLINE THEM!
Offers go out to ALL LIKERS! Not just you!
The decline option is to add or remove items to a bundle or to adjust negotiated terms with the seller.
Everyone that "likes" an item receives offers on that item until the 10% drop on offers runs out or 3 times on bundles. When you decline an offer, the liked item will continue to send you offers every time the seller sends out an offer.
If you decline 3 offers on the same item Poshmark will shadow ban you from receiving any further offers on that item and other offers from that seller. It also puts you in a " back room" user situation where your closet and offers are not visible to active users.
If you don't want to receive offers, don't "like" items. If you are just wanting to "bookmark " items gorgeous future reference, DON'T decline the offers.
Isn't it FUN to watch all of those amazing prices on your favorite items go down!?!?
Also, declining offers on items you just liked may get you blocked by some sellers as it's totally unnecessary & adds confusion!
Let's be kind! Don't decline!

@tiff131969 Hey there, just an FYI. Declining offers can keep you from getting the best offers later. All offers expire in 24hours so there is NO NEED to decline them. Also many sellers may block you for liking items & then declining them. Check out this discription, it will explain more on why there is a decline option &why it messes with your closet when you do it too often. Poshmark AI will shadow block you from seeing the best offers & deals.Let me know if you have any questions.

@avelonsattic that’s really great to know! I’m broke until the 20th now thanks to a certain cat that’s sitting on me as I type, but I will definitely be grabbing something on the 20th! I have always been a casual posh buyer and had never sold anything until recently, so thanks for the helpful tips. I had no idea!

@tiff131969 No worries! Posh is different and takes a bit to get used to. They quirky policies. Like sharing too much! which is CRAZY because it's a "share" site! I think some of their policies are ridiculous and I've complained along with hundreds of others. They have changed some things too. But, yeah, a LOT of people don't understand the declining policies. Because, why is it even an option? lol. its just to switch up bundles! Some people think that the offers only go to them.

@tiff131969 Any questions you have, I can probably answer. I have a website & I list on other sites, but this is my main hub of operations & sales. Im a disabled veteran & don't get much disability. So i started taking jewelry making classes back in 1999 & have been going everywhere since. I will, of course, work within your budget &give you a great deal with discount shipping. I just need to cover my materials. Sterling & gold are SUPER pricey these days!

@godlovesu You are welcome! You are welcome to use it on your page too if you like! SO many users don't read the use page so they don't know how we work here. It's frustrating. So, I made this to share with users that keep declining offers after they just "liked" something. Feel free to use it and happy Poshing!
Sep 29Reply

godlovesu
@avelonsattic Thanks again. Do you have anything for the bundle cart?
Sep 29Reply

avelonsattic
@godlovesu I'm not sure what you mean?
Sep 29Reply

godlovesu
@avelonsattic I think that a lot of people when they place the items in a bundle that it means they're purchasing the items and not just placing them there in case they want to come back to those items. I have had people upset with me because they thought when they do this, they bought the items, or some think I can complete the bundle as a purchase. I think it confuses some people and could be the cause of lost sales.
Sep 29Reply

avelonsattic
@godlovesu Oh. I see. I send them a message that all items that are liked or added to bundles will receive offers & it is no way an obligation to purchase. I tell them to feel free to bundle as a book mark, but just know that they may receive offers on those items & that all offers expire in 24hours. So that offer is only good for that 24 hours. New users need to be schooled as they don't read any of the policies.
Sep 29Reply

avelonsattic
@godlovesu But I don't have a bundle advisory listing yet. I haven't had too much trouble with that yet! lol.
its the declining that bugs me the most as they just winter read anything to learn our process here.
