How is the fit of these around the calf and thigh? Do they stay up by themselves?

Hi Katherinefriar, thanks for your interest. Yes, they stay up perfectly. I have slightly wider calves than the average. I have no issues with them slipping down. They aren't too tight, either. These really are fantastic boots and beautifully made with quality materials and structure. I'm selling them only because I turned 30 and am cleaning out my closet to make room for a new look!
