From the days before good quality reps were available, this bag and one other (selling both) were purchased from a very special room at a very special market in Shanghai, where a specific script had to be followed. Buyer, after being shown lots of low quality bags: "Could you show me something made with better leather?" Seller: "Yes, but it's very expensive." And out comes your bag. I bought this one and one other in brown. The brown one has some notable issues, but this one is in better shape, apart from a floppy handle (see photo) I love not having to worry about damaging or losing a bag, that's why this was a good solution for me, but I also love a beautiful Birkin, and I've enjoyed having these.
