mzthyck275 @morgi_johnson I’ve read comments on people getting scammed, so I asked what to do to prevent any future scams . I’ve been advised by an ambassador on some things and I’ve been exploring the site for the time being

johnsonmorgi @mzthyck275 I've never really heard of people being scammed on here, other than the occasional fakes that we're advertised as authentic. But for the most part I believe Poshmark is a wonderful platform of sellers, best you can do to avoid a scam is ask questions, etc. Poshmark has great protection though for buyers and sellers, so if something occurs like receiving damages items, or if you feel the item was not as described or whatever reason.

rebo315 Poshmark is a great community to shop, sale and make friends. Not necessarily because people selling in bulks mean there scammers. Some sellers buy in bulk which is great for a buyer they can offer you great deals. If by chance you are not happy nor satisfied with any item you have 3days to decide. You can just return the item back to the seller following Poshmark directions. If at any time you have questions and or concerns need any help I would greatly assist you Posh Ambassador @rebo315 . 💝🙏

latoyas_closet I’ve been on posh since 2013 and it’s come along way. Ppl scam everyday, just be careful and mindful, look at ppl stats. I agree if you don’t get what was received I would return/complain ASAP. Any more questions or concerns I’m always available. ☺️☺️☺️

roxee06 Hi and welcome! There are scammers and opportunist like on all on line platforms. Just do your due diligence when purchasing and if the seller doesn’t use their own pics and doesn’t answer questions, move on. Also you can block people that are shady or whom act not trustworthy. All in all, most of us are honest and just trying to buy or sell! 🥰

dchillas As for your comment above I understand you feel that way people can list the item at the original price even if they got it as a gift and boutiques thinking by things by wholesale are are not required to list an amount . Some sellers list $999 as urchase price.. I think they should not require purchase price I get gifts etc...

dchillas I was thinking about it and look forward this symbol NWT which means it’s new with the tags on. NWOT means new but no tears. I did have a situation happen you mean very bad ceramic piece for $40 in the persons and then in the Marshall’s bag with the price tag on it and I have $10 that suggested retail price $40. You have to remember to do if you go out by 9 AM today for $20 people raise their price to cover the 20 or 25 percent Posh takes.

Poshmark has well over 2 million members and of course there will be a few bad apples. Poshmark protects both buyers and sellers. If you are interested in purchasing something read the entire description and ask questions if necessary. I’m a Poshmark Ambassador and if you need help just let me know.
