@connieedson Thank you do you think you could help me figure out maybe what it`s worth? I`m not sure if I`m going to sell it until I know more. The color is gorgeous. I lived in the Keys in my 20s and it reminds me of the color of water down there. N

@nshelto1 the bracelet part looks stamped but the stone setting looks cast.
possible two pieces were married together.
is it signed by anyone or just stamped sterling?
it doesn't look particularly old.
Nov 04Reply

nshelto1
@cruelgirlarcher No it`s not signed, just a small stamping that says sterling, I think there`s a pic of the inside I can put up.

But kind of.. after the fee would it be worth it to sell it?

@cruelgirlarcher Also the color of the stone is beautiful. I also got it from a Posher that really needed money(single Mom no child supp.) She didn`t know much a friend who had alot of turquoise gave it to her. Almost the same cuff on the E for over $400 but the lady has alot of beautiful expensive pieces. You would def say overpriced on alot of her stuff but some is worth it. lionqueen or alionqueen. N

@connieedson Thanks so much. I`m not sure about selling it, but I wanted to get some opinions from those that know more than me. I know i love turquoise. N

@nshelto1 I was going to say $200 to $300 max.
only because the maker cannot be identified. if it was a piece by a Yazzie or Begay or Singer. then the price of $400 would be acceptable. as most notable silversmiths would most likely sign their work. it's very pretty the stone is a nice size.

@connieedson @nshelto1 yes, as Connie and I know, posh fees can be a concern.
welcome to our world Nancy. let the lowballing commence.

@cruelgirlarcher The 1 on E is almost the same, mine is a little more fancy on top and heavier. Stone is samish in color and she says Harvey era, hers is not signed either. The stamping on the side exactly the same. The inside top the same. If it`s Harvey then it`s a little older? I have so much to learn.
Nov 04Reply

cruelgirlarcher
@nshelto1 it could be Harvey era but there's no way to be sure. the sides definitely look like it but the top, no.
either way, it's pretty.

@cruelgirlarcher Thanks again Marcy. There`s nobody in Roch. that I can go to and get info. So I really appreciate your input. Is marrying 2 pieces common in the turquoise world? Is the front piece still NA? N

@cruelgirlarcher I have a cuff that was given to me in 1975 for graduation and it`s got GS inside which surprised me.
Nov 05Reply

cruelgirlarcher
@nshelto1 it's hard to say if it's NA for sure. it looks like it is.
marrying pieces is pretty common.
